A Place To Stand

Here is a quote from the great Paul Strand that mirror's my basic approach to shooting a wedding......“It has always been my belief that the true artist, like the true scientist, is a researcher using material and techniques to dig into the truth and meaning of the world in which he himself lives; and what he creates, or better perhaps, brings back, are the objective results of his explorations”. Portraits

Portraits is a funny word; it implores the notion of posed, methodical image making. That can mean different things to different people and for artists, it becomes even more subjective. Here are some images from some recent Portraits.

A Few Personal Images

Between shooting Weddings, Editing, Family, Philadelphia Wedding Project and all of my other commitments, I do manage to traverse the world, camera in hand. Here is the result (or at least a view).

Anna & Daniel

There is so much I could say about this couple, the amazing vendors (Mark Kingsdorf, Eventricity, The Union League, Jack Faulkner Orchestra) who brought the day home and how much fun we had. If I took the time to express it all the images would never get posted.
